More about Oolong Tea
Oolong tea sits between green tea and black tea because it is partially oxidised. That gives oolong a broad flavour range: light and floral, smooth and fruity, creamy, roasted, or more complex depending on the tea. Oolong is a strong choice if you already enjoy loose leaf tea and want something more layered than a standard everyday cup. Give the leaves room to open, use water around 85 to 95°C, and try re-steeping if the tea is whole leaf. Read our oolong tea guide for a simple explanation of taste, caffeine and brewing.
